Heavenly Mountains
The Heavenly Mountains begin in the Northern Swamps, pass through the Variegated Forest and Wild Jungle, and end in the south in the Dead Desert.
The Heavenly Mountains have long been the most important landmarks for travelers, for they are located in the heart of the main continent and stretch in a slightly curved line from north to south. Their peaks, mighty and majestic, crash into the clouds as if they want to prove something to the world. Their snow caps can be seen long before approaching. The most majestic structure here is Lantara, a city carved into the mountains. There is almost no wildlife in the mountains, sometimes you can only find birds nesting among the rocks. And at altitude there are usually sparse shrubs, flowers, and mosses, making the landscape of the Heavenly Mountains a bit monotonous and dull.
Variegated forest
Variegated Forest - is located in the center of the main continent with a pleasant climate, spreading out on either side of the Heavenly Mountains.
The western part is largely dominated by nature: wildlife abounds here, and the land is littered with branching rivers and small lakes that yield rich harvests, and it is here that herbs for potions and potions should be gathered. The forest itself is considered impassable - too dense, with almost no glades. The eastern part is under the rule of King Lantar and is considered more populated, with many settlements. Although the eastern part of the forest is considered to be the Variegated Forest, only the name of the forest remains: the trees are actively cut down and many animals are forced to leave the area, fleeing either to the Northern Swamps or the Wild Jungle The
Variegated Forest is not known for its abundant resources, with the exception of timber - the forest is still huge. Despite the fact that there are almost no dragons left in the wild, copper and silver dragons can still be seen in the forest.
Wild Jungle
The Wild Jungle is located to the south of the Variegated forest. It wraps around the Heavenly Mountains so that this vast territory is inseparable. The subtropical and tropical climate reigns here.
The wild jungle is called wild jungle for a reason. Here nature is the queen of everything, it is she who forces to live according to her rules, if someone refuses, the plants and animals as if rebelled. Plantings grew, without yielding crops, and animals were eaten by predators or became wild - ran away from their masters. For many people, the Wild Jungle is an impassable territory, and to some extent it is. In the west and in the east - huge age-old trees have grown so much that their branching crowns began to hide the sun, and thick and twisted roots together with tall grass erased the existence of all roads and paths. More than a dozen thick vines stretched between them, forming a natural unbreakable network.
Northern Swamps
The Northern Swamps - located in the very north of the main continent, starting from the northern side of the Heavenly Mountains, are the largest area of Amesta. The north and south have very different temperatures. The south of the marshlands is a kingdom of coniferous plants their endless number formed a quiet and peaceful forest. Rare stalked shrubs with colorful small berries complement the trees, giving the place a special charm. Closer to the north, the climate becomes harsh, with cold strong winds blowing almost always and frequent snowfall, life is almost non-existent.
Dead Desert
The Dead Desert - located in the south of the main continent, its origin is after the wild jungle, is the second largest area in the world of Amesta, second to the Northern Swamps
Between the two rivers were wedged small mountains, at the foot of which formed a stone desert. There are no animals or plants here, only a strong wind blows rare stones off the mountains and throws them down. There are very few plants, among the yellow sand mostly grow huge cacti, thorny bushes and small grass. They are located near water bodies, as in the central areas the thickness of the sand layer reaches several meters. No one expected that the Dead Desert would turn out to be a gold mine. Gold nuggets can be found along the riverbanks, and gemstones and iron are mined in the south near the Heavenly Mountains.
